Often called Rama Tulsi this plant is native to India, widely used in Ayurveda and western herbal medicine. The leaves and flowers make a delicious, uplifting tea supporting the immune, nervous and digestive systems. You can get multiple harvests of each plant, use fresh or dry for storage. Start indoors 4-6 weeks before the last frost and transplant outdoors when temperatures are above 7C overnight. They do well in a greenhouse or pots in sunny locations.
