A medicinal herb for relaxing muscle tension and promoting sleep. The roots are harvested after 3 years of growth and the flowers can also be used for tea. A hardy plant that blooms early Summer, growing 5-8 tall with delicate umbel flowers. Attractive for pollinators. Cut plants back after flowering to prevent the seeds from dispersing. Sow directly outdoors after risk of frost.
