Growing Tips:
Cosmos - direct sow outdoors after risk of frost. Cheery daisy like flowers in bright & light pink colours. Long lasting cut flowers, keep harvesting and deadheading to stimulate more growth.
Strawflower - direct sow after risk of frost or start indoor 4 weeks before last frost. These make lovely cut flowers fresh or dried, in a range of colours from pastels pinks to dark purple and oranges.
Opium Poppy - lightly sprinkle seeds outdoors early Spring, can tolerate light frost. A range of pink, reds and purple colours. Seeds are edible and seed pods can be used in bouquets both fresh and dried.
Sunflowers - direct sow after risk of frost. They love Sunshine and do not need a lot of water. Includes tall, light yellow "Lemon Queen" and the classic shorter bright yellowy-orange sunflower.
Jasmine Tobacco - Direct sow after risk of frost or start indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost. Gorgeous large white trumpet flowers which magically fill the evening air with the scent of Jasmine. Can be used in bouquets.
